Goal: To conceptualise and prototype an easy and ergonomic way for people to floss their teeth daily.

Outcome: Working hardware prototype was built. Team decided not to pursue FDA approval processes.

Context: Today gum disease is considered our silent epidemic, whilst the trusty toothbrush can only reach a maximum of 60% of your teeth surfaces.

Lymbo is a compact electric tooth flosser with LED light. An automatic flossing device with a hidden motor that push and pulls floss at a moderate speed. Lymbo is a flossing tool for the consumer market.
